About The Position
Eurest is hiring a full-time Barista at Lidl in Arlington, Virginia. The position prepares and serves coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items, following standard recipes and food-safety requirements. The Barista handles customer orders and payments, maintains clean and orderly service areas and equipment, and provides friendly, efficient service. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary; no weekends or holidays are required. Barista experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
- Enter orders accurately into the POS device and accept cash and charge payments.
- Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining a clean service area.
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, and follow HACCP standards.
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
- Prepare food using approved recipes and prescribed production standards.
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
- Thoroughly clean equipment and the workstation before leaving the area for other assignments.
- Greet customers courteously and interact with them to support customer satisfaction.
- Relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors.
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently and prevent delays in serving lines.
- Understand daily menu items and explain them accurately to customers.
- Use selling techniques, communicate with customers, and assist with buying decisions.
- Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly according to standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
