About The Position

Eurest is hiring a full-time Barista at Lidl, 3500 S Clark Street, Arlington, Virginia. The role prepares and serves coffee and espresso drinks, along with related food and beverage items, following standard recipes and food-safety requirements. The Barista interacts with customers and coworkers in a friendly and courteous manner and helps deliver efficient, high-quality service. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. Barista experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

Barista experience required.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
Enter orders accurately into the POS device and accept cash and charge payments.
Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies, maintaining a clean service area.
Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures while following HACCP standards.
Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
Prepare food using approved recipes and prescribed production standards.
Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
Thoroughly clean equipment and the workstation before leaving the area for other assignments.
Greet customers courteously, interact to ensure customer satisfaction, and relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors.
Serve customers quickly and efficiently and prevent delays in serving lines.
Understand daily menu items and explain them accurately to customers.
Use selling techniques, communicate with customers, and assist with buying decisions.
Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly according to standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
