About The Position

HMSHost is hiring a Barista to provide quality beverages and products, quick service, and a fun, memorable experience for guests. The role involves taking and preparing food and drink orders, following recipe and presentation standards, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized store. Baristas are expected to provide friendly service and uphold the brand’s and HMSHost’s operational, safety, and security policies. The position is at John Glenn Columbus International Airport. Advertised compensation is $14.50 to $15.75.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, take food and drink orders, answer questions, address guests by name, and thank them for their orders.
Prepare and serve quality beverages and food products consistently according to recipe and presentation standards.
Provide quick, friendly, and memorable guest service.
Remain calm during high-volume periods and help keep the store operating properly while setting a positive example for the team.
Operate a cash register and receive guest payments in accordance with customer service and cash-handling policies and procedures.
Keep the store clean, stocked, and organized, and decorate customer display areas.
Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge while following operational policies and procedures, including safety and security requirements.
