About The Position

The Barista prepares high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items while providing warm, efficient, and friendly service. The role maintains cleanliness, accuracy, and consistency while creating a welcoming environment and supporting overall outlet operations. The position is in the Food & Beverage department and exercises no supervision. It receives supervision from the Assistant F&B Manager or F&B Manager.

Requirements

Knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, and beverage recipes.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior barista, café, or food service experience preferred.
Hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages.
Take guest orders, process payments, and accurately handle cash and point-of-sale transactions.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the café, barista station, and equipment.
Restock ingredients, cups, utensils, pastries, and merchandise.
Follow standard recipes and portion controls to ensure product consistency.
Engage warmly with guests, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.
Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
