About The Position

Starbucks baristas create a warm and welcoming space where each cup of coffee can spark connection. They engage with customers, help brighten their day, and contribute to meaningful customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. Baristas prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customize orders, while carrying out a variety of store tasks and following operating, safety, and security standards. No previous experience is required.

• Be available to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Provide quality beverages and food products while following store operating policies and standards, including cash-handling, safety, and security standards.
• Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
• Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customize them to customer requests, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
• Perform a variety of different tasks within the store during each shift.
