About The Position

Provides high-quality customer service and develops relationships with customers. Learns to prepare consistent drinks according to Starbucks recipes and standards, and to prepare food products for serving. Learns to receive and prepare food items for resale, keep cases and shelves properly stocked throughout the day, and consider profitability and loss reduction. Follows Health Department guidelines.

Learns to maintain a clean work environment using opening and closing procedure checklists and ensures Health Department guidelines and store cleaning policies are followed. Learns to accurately charge for products, handle cash properly, prepare precise and accurate deposits, and troubleshoot computer or transaction issues. Suggests innovative ways to reduce loss and waste and increase profitability. Learns to troubleshoot issues that arise during the workday and communicate results with the Supervisor as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in a customer service setting required.
• Cleveland County Food Handlers Permit required before beginning work in the coffee shop.
• Ability to correctly count money and troubleshoot on the POS system.

• Six months of experience as a barista preferred.
