About The Position

Eurest is hiring a full-time Barista at Fluor in Greenville, North Carolina. The position makes and serves coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items, including catering orders. The Barista handles food according to HACCP guidelines and food-service quality standards, interacts courteously with customers and coworkers, and helps ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction. The fixed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; further details may be provided during the interview.

The role includes accurately entering orders and processing cash and charge payments; replenishing supplies; maintaining clean, orderly equipment and work areas; following approved recipes, production standards, portion controls, serving temperatures, and sanitation procedures; and presenting and merchandising food attractively. The Barista explains menu items, assists customers with purchasing decisions, serves promptly, and relays relevant customer concerns to supervisors. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Starbucks experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS device and accept cash and charge payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining a clean service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Maintain the sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Prepare food using approved recipes and prescribed production standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and the workstation before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Greet customers courteously and interact with them to ensure satisfaction.
• Relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors.
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently and prevent delays in serving lines.
• Understand daily menu items and explain them accurately to customers.
• Use selling techniques, communicate with customers, and assist with buying decisions.
• Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly according to standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
