About The Position

Eurest is hiring a full-time Barista at BNY, 500 Ross Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. The role prepares and serves coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items, including catering orders. The Barista handles food according to HACCP guidelines and food-service quality standards, interacts courteously with customers and coworkers, and helps ensure fast, satisfying service. The position pays $19.70 per hour. Schedule days may vary, with hours between 6:00 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.; further schedule details are provided during the interview. The position requires barista, customer service, and manual espresso machine experience, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
Enter orders accurately into the POS device and accept cash and charge payments.
Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while keeping the service area clean.
Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, and follow HACCP standards.
Maintain the sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
Prepare food using approved recipes and prescribed production standards.
Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
Thoroughly clean equipment and the workstation before leaving the area for other assignments.
Greet customers courteously, interact in ways that promote customer satisfaction, and relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors.
Serve customers quickly and efficiently and help prevent delays in serving lines.
Understand daily menu items and explain them accurately to customers.
Use selling techniques and clear communication to assist customers with buying decisions.
Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly according to standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
