About The Position

The Barback supports bar service at Signia by Hilton Indianapolis by preparing bar areas and supplies, assisting bartenders, and helping provide memorable guest experiences. The role includes preparing garnishes and juices, keeping the bar stocked, managing beer kegs and taps, assisting with inventory, maintaining clean bar and storage areas, and following applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, and peel garnishes and fruits; mix juices; and place prepared supplies in designated containers.
• Work with the bartender to keep the bar stocked with glassware, ice, produce, condiments, and paper products.
• Transport, replace, and maintain beer kegs and taps to support uninterrupted service.
• Retrieve orders from the storeroom, visually check stock, reconcile items with written requisitions, and re-check deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators, and storage areas.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
