About The Position

The Cocktail Server at Signia by Hilton Indianapolis provides food and beverage service while creating memorable guest experiences. The role calls for a friendly, upbeat approach to guest interactions and a proactive effort to make each guest’s experience special. The server learns menu items, promotions, and specials; takes and enters orders into the point-of-sale system; and delivers completed orders promptly. The position also maintains a stocked, clean, and organized service station and follows health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make the guest experience special.
• Learn menu items, promotions, and specials to assist guests and answer their questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly and accurately.
• Keep the service station fully stocked, clean, and organized.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
