About The Position

The Coffee Shop Attendant, also described as a Marketplace Attendant, works in the grab-and-go shop at Signia by Hilton Indianapolis. The role focuses on providing friendly, efficient guest service and creating memorable hospitality experiences. Duties include preparing specialty coffee drinks and warm food, assisting with pastries and other prepared foods, maintaining inventory and attractive product displays, supporting retail sales, processing payments, and keeping the market area clean and inviting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Prepare specialty coffee drinks and warm food items, and assist with the preparation and presentation of pastries and other pre-made food options.
• Replenish and organize market shelves, rotate merchandise, and keep displays neat, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
• Highlight promotions and recommend products to guests.
• Accurately total and process guest payments using the point-of-sale system, including cash, credit and debit cards, change, and gift certificates or cards.
• Keep the market area, service counters, and equipment clean and tidy.
