About The Position

The Steward supports kitchen and dining operations by keeping serviceware, cooking utensils, and work areas clean, stocked, and organized. The role includes preparing clean serviceware for banquets and functions, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and helping train new stewards. Team members are expected to follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations and demonstrate Hilton’s values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, and pans, and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness through tasks such as mopping and trash removal.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards to strengthen team performance.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
