About The Position

The Utility Steward at Signia by Hilton Atlanta helps deliver a memorable guest experience by keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and supporting smooth service. The role cleans chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, and pans; burnishes silver; monitors and organizes supplies and equipment; and performs kitchen cleaning such as mopping and trash removal. The steward also prepares clean serviceware for banquets and functions, mentors new stewards, and follows health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.

Requirements

• Demonstrate hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, accountability, urgency, and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including mopping and trash removal.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
