About The Position

The Barback supports bar service at Shades at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace by preparing bar areas and supplies, keeping the bar stocked, assisting with beer kegs and taps, managing inventory deliveries, and maintaining clean storage and service areas. The role helps deliver memorable guest experiences while complying with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, and peel fruits and garnishes, mix juices, and store prepared supplies in designated containers.
• Coordinate with the bartender to keep the bar stocked with glassware, ice, produce, condiments, and paper products.
• Transport, replace, and maintain beer kegs and taps.
• Retrieve storeroom orders, visually inspect stock, reconcile items with written requisitions, and re-check deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators, and storage areas.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
