Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Maintain a valid Food Handler’s Certification in the state of New York

Nice To Haves

  • Prior bar support or restaurant experience preferred, high-volume or fine dining background a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support bartenders during service by ensuring the bar remains fully stocked, organized, and pristine.
  • Maintain inventory of spirits, wine, glassware, ice, and garnishes throughout service.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar, including restocking and cleaning.
  • Always uphold Tallow’s standards of polish and presentation.
  • Deliver bar supplies and glassware with efficiency and care, maintaining pace and accuracy during peak hours.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all bar areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and management to support smooth service flow.
  • Embody professionalism, urgency, and teamwork — treating the bar as an extension of Our House.
