Bar Back - Sports Bar
About The Position
The Bar Back supports bar operations by maintaining inventory, restocking products, keeping the bar clean and organized, and maintaining bar equipment and POS systems. The role helps ensure that alcohol is served according to company policy and that team members and guests remain safe and secure. The employee must follow regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures; know current promotions and events, bar equipment, Alcohol Beverage Control regulations, and gaming laws; and professionally handle situations involving intoxicated guests. Duties and responsibilities may change, and other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of bar equipment usage.
- Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control regulations and gaming laws.
- Ability to professionally handle situations that may arise due to intoxicated guests.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a service culture that ensures superior internal and external guest service.
- Ensure alcohol is served according to company alcohol policy.
- Maintain inventory par levels, order inventory, and restock as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar.
- Maintain the liquor tree system and keg system, and stock all bars with bottled products.
- Help ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
- Perform daily maintenance of bar equipment and POS systems.
- Ensure the department follows regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
- Stay knowledgeable about promotions and events.
- Use bar equipment appropriately and follow applicable alcohol and gaming regulations.
- Professionally handle situations involving intoxicated guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
