About The Position

The Bar Back supports the Sports Bar by maintaining guest service standards, ensuring alcohol is served according to company policy, and keeping bar inventory, equipment, and work areas in good order. The role includes following regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures, and staying informed about promotions and events. Duties may change at any time and may include other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a service culture that ensures superior service for internal and external guests.
Ensure alcohol is served according to company alcohol policy.
Maintain inventory par levels, order inventory, and restock as needed.
Keep the bar clean and organized.
Maintain the liquor tree and keg systems, and stock all bars with bottled products.
Help ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
Perform daily maintenance on bar equipment and POS systems.
Ensure the department follows regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of promotions and events.
Understand the use of bar equipment, Alcohol Beverage Control regulations, and gaming laws.
Professionally handle situations that may arise due to intoxicated guests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
