About The Position

The Bar Back is responsible for ensuring all bars are stocked with adequate amounts of beer, juices, mixes, etc. This role involves keeping the liquor room and beer cooler neat and organized, informing management of any equipment issues, and assisting bartenders with preparation and end-of-day clean-up. The Bar Back will also communicate with bartenders regarding their needs and provide assistance as requested, while adhering to all department and company-wide policies and procedures. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Neat, professional appearance.
Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
Regular attendance and punctuality.
Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
Mobility throughout the facility.
Able to bend and twist repeatedly.
Able to carry up to 40 pounds.
Able to push up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous bar experience helpful, but not required.
Basic knowledge of liquor service helpful.

Responsibilities

Ensure all bars are stocked with adequate amounts of beer, juices, mixes, etc.
Keep liquor room and beer cooler neat and organized.
Inform manager of any breakdowns or malfunctions of equipment.
Assist bartenders with preparation of service (e.g. cut fruit, wash dishes, etc.).
Assist bartenders with end-of-day clean-up of the bar (e.g. mopping, etc.).
Communicate with bartenders regarding their needs, and provide assistance as requested.
Follow department and company-wide policies and procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
