About The Position

The Bar Back is part of the Cigars International Retail & Hospitality Team and supports daily bar operations and an exceptional guest experience. The role works closely with bartenders, servers, and management to maintain efficient service standards and support the success of the business. It offers an opportunity to build hospitality experience within a growing cigar company. The position is on-site in Katy, Texas. The schedule requires availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak business periods. The role may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout a shift.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year of experience in a bar, restaurant, hospitality, or related customer service environment.
Experience supporting high-volume food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain fully stocked ice bins, liquor wells, and beer coolers for bartenders.
Assist cocktail servers and support staff by clearing and resetting tables.
Remove trash and support recycling efforts throughout the facility.
Communicate operational concerns and guest-related issues to the Manager on Duty.
Assist management in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
Rotate and replace kegs as needed.
Clean, bus, stock, and organize glassware.
Keep guest-facing areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
Provide support to bartenders and service staff in a high-volume environment.
