About The Position

The Bar Back supports bartenders and helps create a fun, seamless experience for Topgolf Players. The role keeps the bar stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice; cleans glassware, equipment, and utensils; and collects empty glasses and bottles to keep drink service running smoothly. Bar Backs work alongside bartenders and other Playmakers to support efficient service and memorable Player experiences.

The position requires following safety and sanitation standards and keeping the bar clean, safe, and compliant. Team members are expected to embody Topgolf’s values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring, while contributing to a supportive environment for Players and fellow Playmakers. Applicants must be at least the legal serving age in the jurisdiction of employment and retain any responsible beverage service certifications required by law.

Requirements

• Ability to stay calm and effective in a popular, high-volume environment.
• Must be at least the legal serving age in the jurisdiction of employment.
• Maintain responsible beverage service certifications where required by law.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lb., including bending, stooping, and carrying.
• Ability to remain on your feet for most of the shift and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform varied physical tasks and sustain the pace of a high-volume work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by ensuring they have the supplies needed to serve drinks.
• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
• Clean glassware, equipment, and utensils, and maintain an organized bar area.
• Collect empty glasses and bottles to support continuous drink service.
• Work with bartenders and other Playmakers to ensure service runs smoothly and create memorable Player experiences.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and keep the bar clean, safe, and compliant.
• Demonstrate Topgolf’s values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring.
