About The Position

Levy is hiring a seasonal Bar Back at Snow Valley. The position supports bartenders and other staff with bar opening and closing procedures and behind-the-bar tasks, including restocking and preparing garnishes. The Bar Back helps ensure guests receive excellent customer service and enjoy their time at the venue. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in a bar where alcoholic beverages are served and consumed. The role requires availability for various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and major holidays. Compensation starts at $19 per hour and includes tips through a mandatory tip split.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in a bar where alcoholic beverages are served and consumed.
• Must be available to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and major holidays.
• Ability to lift 150+ pounds, including a full-size keg.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Guest service skills.
• Adaptability, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the venue organized, stocked, and clean.
• Jerry Jolly Responsible Alcohol Service Certificate.

Nice To Haves

• Previous entry-level bar or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, and respond to guest questions and needs in a timely manner.
• Interact with customers while tidying tables, counters, and other bar areas.
• Clear tables and serving areas of dust and debris in summer and snow in winter.
• Change beer kegs and replace liquor and beer bottles.
• Restock the bar with straws, coasters, and napkins.
• Remove trash and clean up drink spills.
• Keep the venue clean and organized according to company standards.
• Refill ice bins.
• Clean and restock rags throughout the shift.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Assist bartenders during rush hours.
• Ensure the venue is always Show Ready.
• Comply with all County and Company food and beverage regulations.
• Complete other duties assigned by leadership.
