About The Position
The Bar Back is responsible for setting up bars for lounges and receptions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This role involves replenishing and ordering beverages and supplies based on par levels, stocking supplies, and cleaning and organizing bar areas in both the front and back of house. The Bar Back must execute their job according to SOP while incorporating 5 Star, 5 Diamond guidelines. They should be able to engage in intelligent, friendly, and informative conversations with guests and possess knowledge of Greenbrier amenities and social areas.
Requirements
- Restaurant bus server or waiter trained; previous general kitchen work preferred
- Able to convey pleasant, 5 Star appropriate conversation with guest
- Able to communicate in clear and concise manner with internal and external guest in written and verbal language
- Stock requisitions
- Telephone and pager use
- POS knowledge
Responsibilities
