About The Position

This role is responsible for receiving liquor, beer, and wine from the storeroom daily and replenishing these items at the bar throughout the shift. The position involves retrieving food and beverage items, setting up bar bottles, ensuring beer taps are functional, stocking snacks and napkins, and assisting with opening and closing duties. The Bar Back also buses tables in the bar area, helps maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of bar areas, removes rubbish, and prepares and serves beverages as needed to assist the bartender. Requirements

• Must be able to receive and deliver items from storeroom and kitchen.
• Ability to set up bottles and ensure beer taps are working.
• Must be able to stock supplies and snacks.
• Ability to assist with opening and closing duties.
• Must be able to bus tables and maintain cleanliness of bar areas.
• Ability to remove rubbish from receptacles.
• Must be able to prepare and serve beverages.
• Requires Florida Level 2 background screening for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Receives all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom on a daily basis and as needed.
• Replenishes all liquor, beer and wine as needed in the bar throughout the shift.
• Retrieves all needed food items from kitchen and delivers to bar area.
• Retrieves all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar area.
• Sets up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf.
• Ensures beer taps are working properly.
• Places appropriate bar snacks on counter; keeps supplies, such as snacks and napkins, stocked throughout shift.
• Assists in opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Buses tables in bar area.
• Helps ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas, including floor mats.
• Ensures rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
• Prepares and serves beverages as needed to assist bartender.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
