About The Position

Greet guests and set up and tear down banquet rooms using chairs, tables, and equipment for guest functions. Help maintain an efficient, clean, profitable, and professional banquet facility by providing quality service, hospitality, and function-room standards.

Requirements

Physical stamina to move heavy equipment and furniture.
Ability to read and accurately follow event instructions and floor plans.
Attention to detail to ensure event spaces are set up correctly and meet specifications.
Teamwork skills to collaborate with other staff members.
Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other furniture.
Set up and place audio-visual equipment, linens, centerpieces, and other supplies.
Perform final room cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces such as windows and walls, to prepare spaces for guests.
Assist with event breakdown, including moving and storing equipment and furniture in designated places.
Keep banquet areas, public spaces, and storage areas clean and organized.
Work with event staff and servers to ensure setups are complete and ready for service.
Greet guests.
