About The Position

Banquet Set-Up Associates prepare and maintain banquet spaces to support successful events and create memorable guest experiences. The role involves setting up and breaking down event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders, transporting and arranging furniture and equipment, maintaining clean public spaces during events, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready and functional, and tracking and storing event furnishings. Experience is not required. Scheduling flexibility is needed to align with hotel event needs.

Requirements

• Full mobility and ability to perform continuous movement.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility with scheduling to align with hotel event needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Safely transport tables, chairs, staging areas, dance floors, and partitions.
• Maintain public spaces during events to ensure a consistently clean presentation.
• Ensure supplies are available and equipment is properly set up and functioning.
• Track event supplies and equipment, store furnishings carefully when not in use, and promptly report repair or maintenance needs.
