About The Position

As a Banquet Setup team member, you will prepare the physical space for banquet and catering functions at the Roland property. You will arrange tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, linens, serving utensils, décor, and other necessary items, ensuring the venue is ready before guests arrive. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and efficient work in a fast-paced event environment. You will also complete assigned side duties and help maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in shared work areas for team members and guests.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to acquire a Food Handler’s Card from the Cherokee Nation.
Must pass all Alcohol Awareness training provided by CNE.
Ability to stand and walk constantly.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working with strong exposure to smoke, noise, and bright lights typical of a casino and event setting.

Responsibilities

Set up and tear down banquet and catering functions, including tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, linens, serving ware, and décor.
Complete event setup and teardown in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail.
Perform assigned side duties each shift to support banquet operations.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in areas of responsibility and help ensure a safe, sanitary work environment for team members and guests.
