About The Position

As a Banquet Setup team member, you will support the events department by preparing the physical space for banquet and catering functions at the Roland property. You will set up and tear down event furnishings and materials, including tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, linens, serving ware, and décor. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also perform assigned side duties and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards for shared work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to acquire a Food Handler’s Card from the Cherokee Nation.
• Must pass all Alcohol Awareness training provided by CNE.
• Constant standing and walking.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with strong exposure to smoke, noise, and bright lights typical of a casino and event setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete setup and teardown tasks in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail.
• Perform assigned side duties each shift to support banquet operations.
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in shared areas of responsibility.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for team members and guests.
