About The Position

As a Banquet Setup team member, you will prepare the physical space for banquet and catering functions at the Catoosa/Will Rogers Downs properties. You will arrange tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, linens, serving utensils, décor, and other event items, ensuring the setup is complete and detailed before guests arrive. The role supports banquet operations in a fast-paced environment and includes assigned side duties, setup and teardown work, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in shared work areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to acquire a Food Handler’s Card from the Cherokee Nation.
Must pass all Alcohol Awareness training provided by CNE.
Ability to stand and walk constantly.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfort working with strong exposure to smoke, noise, and bright lights typical of a casino and event setting.

Responsibilities

Set up and tear down banquet and catering functions, including tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, linens, serving ware, and décor.
Complete setup and teardown tasks promptly and with exceptional attention to detail for every event.
Perform assigned side duties each shift to support banquet operations.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in areas of responsibility and help ensure a safe, sanitary environment for team members and guests.
