About The Position

The Banquet Set Up team member cleans and prepares function rooms according to customer specifications listed on event orders. The role ensures audio/visual equipment and banquet items are clean, functional, and properly arranged; coordinates with the A/V Company as needed; and maintains banquet storage and service areas. The position requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The posting lists an hourly rate of $24.00.

• Ability to read computer screens and printed materials, hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use a phone and/or headset, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Responsibilities

• Clean and set up function rooms according to customer specifications on event orders.
• Set up audio/visual equipment and ensure it is functioning properly, working with the A/V Company as needed.
• Ensure banquet items and spaces are clean and in working order.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpet, dust walls and dividers, and mop the service area when needed.
• Return electrical equipment to the banquet storage facility at the end of the day and keep the facility clean.
• Promptly remove full bus pans from function areas.
