About The Position

The On Call Banquet Set Up role is responsible for cleaning and preparing function rooms according to customer specifications on event orders. The position includes setting up and checking audio/visual equipment, keeping banquet spaces and items clean and in working order, maintaining the storage facility, and removing full bus pans from function areas. The hourly rate is $24.00.

Responsibilities

• Clean and set up function rooms according to customer specifications on event orders.
• Set up audio/visual equipment and ensure it is functioning properly; coordinate with the A/V company as needed.
• Ensure banquet items and spaces are clean and in working order.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets, dust walls and dividers, and mop service areas when needed.
• Return electrical equipment to the banquet storage facility at the end of the day.
• Keep the storage facility clean.
• Promptly remove full bus pans from function areas.
