About The Position
A Banquet Server serves food and beverages to guests at venues or catering events. The role includes greeting guests and taking orders, delivering the correct drinks and dishes, and refilling beverages as needed. The server provides customer service throughout the event to support a high standard of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
- Relay food and beverage orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate order details, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate person.
- Respond urgently and appropriately to concerns.
- Maintain a professional appearance and mannerisms.
