About The Position

The Banquet Server provides guest service at events and cruises, working collaboratively and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The role involves event setup, taking drink and appetizer orders, serving food depending on the cruise style, clearing dishes, and cleaning and setting up dining rooms. Most cruises are buffet style. The position is part-time, with work on Fridays and Saturdays through the holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to work well with others.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and good people skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to handle cash.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Set up for pre-cruise events and other events.
• Take drink orders from guests.
• Take and serve appetizer orders from guests.
• Occasionally serve food depending on the cruise style.
• Clear dishes and clean the dining room.
• Set up for special events.
