About The Position

The Banquet Server works for Three Leaf Catering in the University of Notre Dame’s campus Hospitality department. The role serves food, pours beverages, and responds to guest requests in accordance with Morris Inn methods and service standards. The server prepares table service for functions as directed by the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server, follows event specifications, assists with equipment removal after meals, follows food-safety procedures, and keeps the work area and equipment clean and in good condition.

Requirements

• Manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Have excellent communication and listening skills.
• Be able to stand for extended periods, up to six hours at a time.
• Follow food-safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare table service for functions as directed by the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server.
• Follow written specifications provided by the events department.
• Participate in equipment removal following meal service.
• Serve banquet functions professionally by serving food, pouring beverages, and handling guest requests.
• Follow established guidelines for the safe handling of food.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and in good working condition.

Benefits

• $17.50 per hour plus gratuity.
