About The Position

The On-Call Banquet Server sets up assigned tables for banquet functions and provides attentive, welcoming food and beverage service. The role includes serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food orders, completing pre-function side work, following banquet event orders, and helping ensure a positive guest experience. The position pays $23 per hour and requires a flexible schedule, including weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least two years of previous customer service experience, preferably in a similar setting, with working knowledge of food and beverage service.
• At least six months of experience.
• Meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
• TIPS certification is required.
• Able to work varied shifts, including weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to provide a friendly guest experience and work in an empowered, fast-paced environment.
• Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet tables according to specifications.
• Complete pre-function side work assigned by the Banquet Captain and/or Banquet Managers.
• Perform service standards efficiently and properly to exceed guest and associate expectations.
• Attend proactively to guest needs during functions and related duties.
• Follow liquor liability laws.
• Follow details described in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Carry trays and provide excellent customer service.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables.
