About The Position

The Server at The Eddy Taproom & Hotel interacts directly with guests, takes orders, and works to ensure guest satisfaction. The role supports the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values as an active business partner. Compensation is $12.16 per hour.

Requirements

• Two years of experience as a server or cocktail server in a similar restaurant environment.
• Good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills and in-depth knowledge of spirits, wine, and food.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English, basic math skills, and ability to use a calculator.
• Current TIPS certification.
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to six hours; maneuver between simultaneous functions; regularly lift 15–40 pounds; walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to perform tasks; and use finger dexterity to operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Food & Beverage sequence of service and procedures standardized by venue managers and chefs.
• Guide guests through all phases of their experience, maintaining full knowledge of the menu and preparation methods.
• Clean equipment, tools, and supplies; maintain equipment in good working order; and follow company, division, department, and County health department procedures and policies.
• Work as a team and communicate effectively with management, bartenders, and service staff to address guest and associate issues or needs.
• Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, humble, thankful, and respectful attitude toward all team members.
