About The Position

Walters Wedding Estates is seeking enthusiastic and professional Banquet Servers to support weddings and events by providing excellent service to clients and guests. The role suits people who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoy creating memorable experiences. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager. The Banquet Server sets up and maintains event spaces, serves food and beverages, responds to guest needs, and completes event breakdown and closing duties. The role works closely with the culinary and planning teams and collaborates with fellow servers to ensure events run smoothly. This is a part-time position at Ashton Garden Atlanta in Sugar Hill, Georgia. Work is required on weekends and when events take place. The listed pay range is $15.00–$17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Submit to and complete a background check.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Be eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify.
Be able to lift 30 pounds frequently and stand or walk for 8–12 hours.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in a similar role with comparable responsibilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet areas, including moving tables and chairs according to event specifications on the BEO.
Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Serve plated and buffet food and beverages while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Respond promptly to guest requests and anticipate guest needs.
Maintain a clean and organized event space throughout events.
Complete closing duties, including clearing tables, breaking down banquet areas, and storing equipment.
Work with the culinary and planning teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Collaborate with fellow servers to provide efficient and attentive service.
