About The Position

Set up banquet rooms and serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, in accordance with Crescent's high standards of quality. Attend event roll calls, provide courteous guest service, maintain banquet service standards, and reset rooms after functions.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms as instructed by the Supervisor, including linen, service ware, and glassware.
Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function details and guest and hotel expectations.
Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Serve food and beverages in the order and manner directed by the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal, and clear dishes at the end of the meal or function.
Follow all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements related to serving alcoholic beverages.
Replenish beverages as needed and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
Reset the banquet room according to the Supervisor's specifications after the function.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
