About The Position

The Banquet Houseperson works alongside the banquet team to set up and break down event spaces and prepare them for functions. The role includes arranging furniture, setting up tables, and preparing rooms according to event specifications; delivering equipment, supplies, and other items to support banquet servers; and maintaining clean, organized banquet areas. The Banquet Houseperson collaborates with the team to provide seamless service, anticipate guest needs, and contribute to a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment. This is an on-call role at Hyatt Regency Cincinnati.

Requirements

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
