About The Position

Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City is seeking a motivated, energetic part-time Banquet Captain to lead banquet servers and help ensure events are executed flawlessly and to high standards. The role coordinates with event planners and the culinary team, paying close attention to event details and guest experience. The successful candidate brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• One year of banquet attendant or server experience.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and catering operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate banquet servers.
