About The Position

The Banquet Captain oversees food and beverage service at banquet functions and helps create memorable guest experiences. The role supervises service, monitors guest satisfaction, addresses product or service concerns, and supports the planning and execution of a variety of events. The Banquet Captain also helps coordinate the team and processes banquet checks while ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

The position is at Conrad Orlando, a resort within the Evermore Orlando Resort featuring 433 rooms, 65,000 square feet of meeting space, six food and beverage outlets, a spa, and two golf courses. Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively seek ways to make guests’ experiences special.
• Supervise food and beverage service and monitor guest satisfaction during banquet events, promptly addressing product or service quality issues.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and executing banquet functions, including breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas.
• Lead and/or participate in department meetings to align and prepare the team for banquet operations.
• Accurately process banquet checks and ensure smooth payment transactions.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
