About The Position

As a Banquet Bartender at Mandalay Bay, you will support exceptional event experiences by providing polished, efficient beverage service for conventions, banquets, and special events. You will prepare and serve beverages, maintain a clean and organized bar, and work closely with the banquet team to keep service running smoothly. Your product knowledge, attention to detail, and welcoming hospitality will help create memorable experiences for every guest.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a bar or similar environment; preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes, and provide food service as needed.
• Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar.
• Know menu items, liquor brands, beers, and available non-alcoholic selections.
• Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow cash-handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork.
• Train and mentor Apprentice Bartenders and Bar Porters on the overall function of the bar, guest service, and bartending.
• Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain bar stock.
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; refer other matters to management and notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
