About The Position

The Banquet Bartender provides prompt and courteous service to members and guests. The role prepares and serves beverages in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner while complying with state and local laws. The employee may work in various Food and Beverage outlet locations depending on business levels and is expected to work holidays wherever needed, even when their primary outlet is closed. The position requires occasional standing, walking, and speaking or hearing. Employees must regularly push and/or pull 180 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The work environment is usually moderately noisy. Reasonable accommodations may be made for employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education.
Vast knowledge of mixology.
Ability to regularly push and/or pull 180 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work holidays wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests in a courteous, professional manner.
Mix beverages according to established guidelines to ensure consistent service.
Ensure the bar area is properly stocked, maintained, set up, and cleaned daily.
Close and act as cashier for dining room and bar operations.
Understand menus, including preparation and display.
Communicate problems or concerns to the Outlet Manager or Captain.
Assist food servers and clear and wait on tables when needed.
Assist the Outlet Manager and/or Captain with monthly inventories and ensure accuracy.
Attend required Resort training classes and scheduled outlet staff meetings.
Follow Resort Standards of Operation procedures.
Inform the supervisor of needed equipment or necessary repairs.
Monitor the security of beverage items.
Keep the work area clean and neat at all times.
Monitor cash and Micro's operation.
Work in various Food and Beverage outlet locations depending on business levels and work holidays wherever needed.
