About The Position

The Banquet Bartender works in a fast-paced hospitality environment, preparing and serving drinks while tending to bar patrons. The role also includes serving food to guests dining at the bar, maintaining and restocking bar supplies, staying informed about menu offerings, and processing guest payments. The position requires a positive, team-oriented approach and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 1–2 years of prior bartending experience.
• Bring positive energy, assist fellow support staff, and work as a team player.
• Communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Have a flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to stand and walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Create, prepare, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard drink recipes while tending to bar patrons.
• Receive orders and serve food to guests dining at the bar.
• Maintain bottles and glasses attractively and functionally; assist with restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies and complete required side work.
• Stay informed about menu offerings and promptly answer questions about menus, dietary restrictions, and restaurant functions and services.
• Prepare and present final bills, process payments, and report gratuities received in accordance with IRS income-reporting standards.
