About The Position

Set up, tend, and break down banquet bars according to standard policies and procedures, in a safe and efficient manner. The role includes preparing bars in function areas, serving drinks in compliance with applicable hotel, state, and federal laws and policies, maintaining public areas, and cleaning and returning bar supplies to storage after functions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Must work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Alcohol-serving certification from an approved vendor, such as TIPS, or a state-approved program.

Responsibilities

• Set up bars in function areas according to standard policies and guest requests.
• Make and serve drinks to guests while following hotel, state, and federal laws and policies.
• Remove trash and empty glasses from public areas.
• Thoroughly break down and clean bars after functions, returning the bar and supplies to proper storage areas.
