About The Position

Southwest Missouri Bank is hiring a part-time Bank Teller at its Carthage Downtown location. The position is onsite and scheduled for 25 hours per week. The employee must be available Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and for a rotating Saturday shift from 7:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Bank Teller provides prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service, handles teller transactions, and responds to banking inquiries. The role requires learning and maintaining knowledge of the bank’s products and services, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and referring customers appropriately. The teller serves as a first point of contact for customers and helps foster positive relationships and support the community’s financial well-being. Southwest Missouri Bank was founded in 1979 and describes itself as the largest locally owned community bank in Southwest Missouri. It has 11 full-service branches, a home loan center, and more than 40 ATMs.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.

Basic cash handling skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Jack Henry.
Knowledge of office equipment such as printers, ten-key devices, and telephone systems.
Availability for 25 hours per week: Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m.–6:15 p.m., and rotating Saturdays, 7:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m.
