About The Position

Southwest Missouri Bank is hiring a part-time Bank Teller for its Carthage Downtown location. The teller is the first point of contact for customers, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service while handling teller transactions and responding to banking inquiries. The role requires learning and maintaining knowledge of the bank’s products and services, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and making appropriate referrals. The position is 25 hours per week, with availability required from 1:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Monday through Friday and for a rotating Saturday shift from 7:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. This onsite opportunity is described as suitable for Finance or Accounting majors interested in gaining experience in customer service, financial transactions, and problem-solving. Southwest Missouri Bank was founded in 1979 and describes itself as the largest locally owned community bank in Southwest Missouri, with 11 full-service branches, a home loan center, and more than 40 ATMs.

Requirements
