About The Position

TEKsystems is hiring an entry-level Bank Teller to work onsite in Groton, Connecticut, for a Fortune 100 financial institution. The role provides members and prospective members with information and service across the institution’s products, including deposit accounts, lending products, and credit and debit cards. This is a contract-to-hire position paying $21.82 per hour, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Experience handling cash in a fast-paced environment.
• One to three years of customer service experience in retail, banking, or the service industry.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to in-person member inquiries and requests in a structured operation.
• Perform teller-line transactions and related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, and fraud resolution.
• Protect and verify members’ identities and review account information for alerts and irregularities.
• Recognize and respond to activity or patterns that may indicate fraud or abuse.
• Use multiple systems and active listening and engagement techniques to ensure accuracy and member satisfaction.
• Identify and recommend additional products and services that meet member needs.
• Follow policies and procedures while supporting a positive member experience.
