About The Position

TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller to provide members and prospective members with the financial institution’s products and services, including depository accounts, lending products, and credit and debit cards. The role performs moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision, researches and resolves account and loan discrepancies, assists with loan and credit applications, counsels members about products and services, handles cash and negotiable instruments, and identifies opportunities to cross-service products. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract position, fully onsite in Streamwood, Illinois. The schedule requires availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; the employee may be expected to work two to three Saturdays per month depending on business needs. Pay is $21.42 per hour. The position is anticipated to close on November 6, 2026.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of cash-handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, or the banking industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
• High school diploma required.
• Must be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; may be expected to work two to three Saturdays per month depending on business needs.

Nice To Haves

• Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide members and prospective members with the client’s products and services, including depository accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards.
• Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans.
• Assist members with submitting consumer, mortgage, and equity loan applications, overdraft protection applications, and credit card applications.
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
• Identify opportunities to cross-service products and increase product penetration.
• Perform platform banking functions.
