About The Position

The Bank Teller provides customer-focused service to current and prospective members by assisting with financial products and services, including deposit accounts, lending solutions, and debit and credit cards. The role performs platform banking functions in a branch environment and requires strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and a commitment to helping members meet their financial goals. The position may also provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and resolve member account and loan inquiries.
• Assist members with consumer loans, mortgages, home equity products, credit cards, and overdraft protection applications.
• Educate current and prospective members about available financial products and services.
• Process platform banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that meet member needs.
• Handle and balance cash and negotiable instruments properly.
• Maintain compliance with federal regulations and company policies related to financial products and services.
• Support and train Level I team members as needed.
• Assist with branch opening, closing, and vault balancing procedures when required.
• Serve as a branch or ATM vault custodian when assigned.
• Complete additional duties and special projects as needed.
