About the position
As a Manager on the Financial Institution (FI) Analytics team at Cardlytics, you will be responsible for providing actionable customer insights to our financial institution partners. Reporting to the Senior Director of Bank Analytics, you will lead a team of analysts and work closely with FI partnership counterparts to analyze large purchase/engagement datasets and present findings to influence future strategies. With a focus on driving FI engagement and value, you will develop new analytic approaches and craft engaging analytic stories. This role requires experience in analytics, client-facing roles, and a degree in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Work on problems affecting some of the largest financial institutions in the US and meet commitments towards engagement and FI value.
- Work with large datasets in a fast-paced environment using SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and other tools.
- Craft engaging analytic stories to drive home the impact of FI engagement and value, both from a consumer as well as financial institution perspective.
- Mine purchase data to understand customer spending habits, competitive landscapes, and customer journeys.
- Develop and standardize new analytic approaches around customer lifecycle value, measurement plans, cadence testing, optimized cadence of offers, and repeatable self-service tools for internal and external consumption.
- Interpret analytical results and transform them into actionable insights and work with the Partner teams to develop an implementation plan.
- Present to both non-technical marketers and data/statistics professionals.
- Partner across bank and internal organizational lines to drive go-to-market strategies and expand adoption of Cardlytics solutions by banks and their customers.
- Manage the day-to-day bank strategic support needs across portfolios and ensure strategies are actioned into results.
- Continuously seek to understand the "why" behind what is happening.
- Communicate effectively and provide solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics and Design of Experiments, preferably in Marketing Analytics, Risk Analytics, Loyalty Analytics, or Analytics Consulting
- Experience as a team or project lead
- Ability to interpret analytical results and transform them into actionable insights
- Experience in client-facing roles as a subject matter expert
- Ability to present to both non-technical marketers and data/statistics professionals
- Ability to thrive under pressure in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
- Degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Decision Sciences, Market Research, or similar field
- Collaborative mindset and ability to partner across bank and internal organizational lines
- Results-oriented and able to manage day-to-day bank strategic support needs
- Curiosity and willingness to go beyond surface-level understanding
- Effective communication skills
